The module is connected to the computer using the USB interface, and to the microcontroller device via the UART interface with TTL level signals. Often the module is used to connect Arduino boards or other microprocessor devices to a computer. The converter is designed based on the integrated circuit CH340. The chip provides two-way communication and high speed transfer via USB interface, it also emulates a serial output with a speed from 75 bits to 2 Mbits. The main feature of the microcircuit, which distinguishes it from analogues, is its low price. There are 6 pins on the module board. The VCC and GND pins are used as board power, the TxD pin is the transmit line, and the RxD pin is the receive line of the UART signal. If the microcontroller is already connected to its power supply, then the module is connected to it through 3 outputs: GND, TD and RD. The signal level will change on the TxD and RxD lines, which is set by a jumper between the VCC outputs (3.3V, 5V).
