SB-20-1VP selsyn contactless class 2

The non-contact selsyn SB-20-1VP is designed to operate only in transformer mode.
Selsyns are induction machines that allow, at a constant input voltage, to obtain a system of voltages on the output windings, the amplitude and phase of which are determined by the angular position of the rotor.
Selsyns also make it possible to convert such a voltage system into the corresponding angular position of the rotor or into a voltage, the phase and amplitude of which is a function of the input voltage system and the angle of rotation of the rotor.
Selsyns SB-20-1VP are used as misalignment meters for tracking systems.
With the help of selsyns, systems of remote transmissions of indicator (IDP) and transformer (TDP) types can be built, as a result of which indicator and transformer modes of operation are distinguished.
