Boost converter 150W with current and voltage regulation, input 10-32V /output 12-35V

This 150W boost converter can not only change the DC output voltage, but also adjust the current. The adjustable output voltage range is from 12 to 35 V. With this module, you can design a power supply, provide power to high-power LEDs, etc.

The module is designed on the basis of the STPS2045CT Schottky diode, 3 trimmers and other auxiliary components. The module chip is not protected against short circuit (short circuit) and reverse polarity connection. A heatsink is already attached to the chip case. The maximum current is 10 A with normal cooling, and the power is 100 watts. When using additional cooling, the performance of the voltage converter increases: the maximum current can reach up to 16 A, respectively, the power is up to 150 W. The range of efficiency (efficiency factor) of the module is quite wide and ranges from 94 to 96%. If the ambient temperature exceeds 40 °C, forced cooling is recommended.

There are 3 tuning resistors on the module board:

R1 (top left): output voltage adjustment
R2 (top right): changes the output current
R3 (lower left): adjust the value at which the undervoltage protection is triggered
The power supply and the load are connected to the module using 2 terminal blocks:

IN+: input voltage 10 - 32 V
IN-: "ground"
OUT+: output voltage 12 - 35 V
OUT-: device common wire
Powered by an unregulated external power supply. The DC input voltage range of the converter is from 10 to 32 V. The white LED, which is connected to the power bus, signals the power supply to the module. The input voltage of the module must be less than the output voltage (boost converter).
