Description
Flux F1 -Acid-free flux based on absolute isopropyl alcohol. The content of water and other impurities in it does not exceed 0.5%. Activating additives work only at soldering temperature and are not active at normal temperature.
The residual resistance between the tracks, after soldering, is quite high (about4.5 Mohmat a step of 0.5 mm).
Given the high activityan order of magnitude more active than alcohol-rosin) and high residual resistance, -fluxF1 is optimal for soldering printed circuit boards
and, remains safe, evenif it is not washed off after soldering.
When soldering high-voltage, high-resistance, high-frequency circuits, we still recommend that the flux be washed off. Wash off with PCB cleaner.
It should be noted that the F1 flux is very convenient when repairing household radio equipment, where oxidized contacts and pads are often found and there is no way to wash off flux residues after soldering.
