5V Solid State Relay Module 2

This module is designed for switching AC voltage. Often, a solid state relay serves as an on /off switch for high-power circuits. Using this module, you can connect a control circuit, control electric motors, maintain one temperature in industrial production processes, etc.

The module board is designed based on 2 Weiba solid state relays, 2 LEDs (indicate the state of the relay), and other auxiliary components that ensure the correct operation of the module. A solid state relay has the same functions as an electromagnetic one. The main feature of this relay is the absence of mechanical parts, which ensures silent operation of the module and a longer period of its operation. Due to the fact that the isolation is provided by an opto-triac, it is not possible to switch a DC load with this relay.

The solid state relay consists of 4 circuits: primary, trigger, switching and protection. The first circuit is designed to receive the control signal and provide isolation between the input and output circuits. The trigger circuit switches the relay output, and the switching circuit energizes the load. The last circuit is designed to protect the relay from possible damage.

The load can be a device with a current of up to 2 A, where the AC voltage range is in the range from 75 to 264 V. Also, the features of a solid state relay are: small dimensions, built-in noise protection, high speed and long service life.

There are 3 terminal blocks on the module board for connecting the load, power supply and control device. Terminal pin assignments:

DC+: supply voltage
DC-: "ground"
CH1: control signal for load 1
CH2: control signal for load 2
SW1: load 1
SW2: load 2
When the signal level is low, the relay closes, respectively, when the signal is high, the relay opens.
