The RC522 module is used in projects where RFID is required. The module is based on RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) technology, which transmits data over a short distance using electromagnetic fields. The module can be used to open doors, identify people or other systems.

Mirafe is a family of contactless cards that combines signal reading chips and smart card chips. MIFARE Classic cards comply with the ISO 14443A-3 standard. Features of these cards are: memory size 1 or 4 KB, 7-byte unique code and a large number of write cycles. This module supports the following types of cards: Mifare S50, Mifare S70, Mifare UltraLight, Mifare Pro, Mifare DESfire.

Contactless card reader module based on RC522 chip. The microcircuit can process the signals of several tags simultaneously. The features of this module are: high-quality signal reading and low power potential, which provides protection against wear and overheating of parts.

The board is connected to the Arduino using 8 pins. To supply voltage, the GND and 3.3V pins are used. The SPI interface is connected via the SCK (clock signal line), MOSI (master-to-slave data transfer) and MISO (slave-to-master data transfer) pins to similar pins on the microcontroller device, and the RST and SDA (data signal) outputs to any free digital ports on the microcontroller board. The IRQ pin is needed to interrupt the microcontroller when working with a label.
The module kit includes: two RFID tags (card and key fob), card reader board and extension pins. Since the board is in a disassembled state, this allows, if necessary, to connect wires directly to the module outputs. Pin extensions are connected to the board by soldering.
